Good afternoon. It looks like the weather may warm back up by the weekend!

 

We have a friend that is registered for Rock the Parkway half marathon this weekend , but is unfortunately injured. Contact her at bidwellc@parkhill.k12.mo.us if you are interested. The race fee is $60 and her shirt is a size medium. I’m sure you could sneak over to the 5k crowd if you aren’t trained for a half marathon.   

Otherwise, Graden Elementary is hosting a walk to Stomp Out Juvenile Diabetes this Saturday. It’s from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the Graden Walking Trail. The fee is $5 per family and all proceeds go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Plaza Middle School is also hosting a 5k Fun Run on Saturday at 9:00 at English Landing Park. The fee is $15 per person and proceeds go to classroom and building resources.   

There are plenty of reasons to get outside this weekend… be sure to get your fresh air fix!
