Let's meet at Parkville Nature Sanctuary at 7:30 a.m.  The sanctuary has a variety of terrain and is well shaded from the Summer heat.  Pets and bicycles are not allowed, and it's not safe for strollers.  The scenery makes for a great adventure if you have kiddos!  You are very likely to see deer or turkey within the sanctuary. 

If you are traveling South on 9 highway (away from Graden) the Nature Sanctuary will be on your left just past the  Platte County Health Department, but before you reach the Park University baseball field.  It will seem like you are turning into the Health Department parking lot.  You will see the trail head at the bottom of the hill.
